I can remember my aunt's house in Yarmouth after the '53 floods. Politicians are callous, heartless people who put money and power before the wellbeing of the population. Corrupt leaders in America have far too much say in our affairs. Would Blair ever have gone to war if he hadn't been (too easily) persuaded by Bush? Now, I suppose Brown feels committed to 'finishing' what they started at the expense of ordinary homeowners. But then, even the armed forces complain that they are ill-equipped . . . . Where are all these billions going?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8826278365455712021.post-66006162327799258952007-11-13T02:27:00.000+00:002007-11-13T02:27:00.000+00:00This same problem has been happening in areas alon...This same problem has been happening in areas along the Oregon coastline - unfortunately, the zoning laws 20 years ago let the people build too close to the cliffs - and now the erosion is threatening their property. The state government has pretty much said, "we can't help you sorry" - and no insurance. What can be done? nothing.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8826278365455712021.post-69066145088974574962007-11-12T23:19:00.000+00:002007-11-12T23:19:00.000+00:00What's the blogging equivalent of shaking your fis...What's the blogging equivalent of shaking your fist in frustration?
