I write from the experience of theat awfull october 1987 storm down south. The only roof leak was above my bed where i lived, in house shared with the landpesons. Landlords also owned house next door, wos having it reroofed when storm struck. I found woz safest to hide in my wee bed room in the days after - tenants, landpersons, strong arguements.
