Garden news.

It's that time of year when everything is coming into life. These are from the front garden.

?

What's this called?

close-up

Here's a close-up for you, and a clue, it's got thorns like you wouldn't believe!

Hosta.

Another of Dads favourites, the Hosta. We have all sorts of different colours/shapes.

Oh, I forgot to tell you, Di reversed into Jezs' car the other day. It's only a great big 4x4!

It's called a bush.

You're welcome.

Maybe a dog rose? Wait and see if it produces rose hips.

HELL!, and I parked my car next to Di's car last week! Taking a bit of a chance wasn't I? In future I'll park it on the road, next to Paul's Ice Cream wagon or Steve's monster on Sundays!

That plant you wanted to know about is called a "Weed", and it's NOT edible.

Your Dad's garden puts my wilderness to shame.

Great footy result from Moscow

That second one looks like cystitus. I know that isn't how you spell it but you know what I mean. The snails have got my Hosta in spite of vaseline round the tub. Drat!

Pat! That's a disease!

I want to say that's a primrose, but I really don't know much about plants and gardens and such...
