Suppose Facebook and Tweeting might have a lot to do with it...these folk seem unable to live without their Internet-Friendly Mobile Phones...we had a trainee through our office a while back who felt most aggrieved when I told him to turn his phone off...

I think blogging is falling out of "fashion" slowly but surely and FB is a faster way to reach a bigger audience for ones drivel.
Well, I have never been in fashion so I wont be out of fashion ;)
Facebook people don't write. A lot of people don't really *write*.
Besides, there's also Google +.

Facebook, lack of interest and bone b----y idleness.
You ask a good blogger (like me!) to write a well thought out, entralling and intelligent post (not on this site!) and he will shy away from it and go to the simple Facebook or Twitter option.
It's like showing a crucifix to a vampire and he will fly away, but this is only because he is allergic to bullshit.
