I said lettuce for No. 8 but Her Royal Frogness (elle dans la maison) disputes this answer and says lettuce can be cooked, can be put in soup and is also to be found in tins of peas and carrots. At least over here in Frogland.
She suggested melon as the answer.

I didn't do too badly-I forgot rhubarb was a veg. and I don't think I properly read Q 8 (doh) and wrestling boxing all the same to me LOL.
