Pub news.
Di has lost her glasses again, and, as she can't see anything to find them there has been a major search on. I have a couple of ideas to stop her losing them, the first being this.
A good quality staple gun. One over each spectacle arm, straight in the temple should keep them firmly in place!
The second idea might be the more suitable.
The neck chain seems the perfect solution, until she takes them off............DAMN! Back to the first idea!
Unless you have other ideas?

Prepare for a bashing when Di reads this!
hahaha she's going to smack you hard!
I am prepared for the worst!
As I used to say to my husband, when he searched for my lost glasses, "you think it's tough being married to me? Just try being me."
Contact lenses.
I prefer the OCD method. Have several pairs of glasses, each one scrupulously placed in the same spot when not in use, and if they are not in that spot, they are on my face...
I do wish you wouldn't keep upsetting Di, she is such a wonderful person. I think she is charm personified. She is beautiful, has an amazing personality, and is always smiling and happy.
I know she has her little faults, but this is what makes her such a lovely person to be around.
If I were 50 years younger she is the sort of lady; because that's what she is, that I would like to spend the rest of my life with.
Lets face it John, I don't come to the pub just to see you. . . . .
*creep, creep, fawn, fawn*
John, you're D. E. D., dead, mate! I want to be around to witness the bashing that you truly deserve, then I will describe it in great detail on this blog!
Ah, Keith your just grovelling so Di doesn't bash you again.
Di - wallop them both.
John.g - hello matey.
Creep, creep, indeed...
:D
Dead old gentleprat! Where were you today?
Thanks Mickle! I thought you were on my side!
#Debi,it's pathetic isn't it?
Someone's in trouble!
I like the chain idea. And the more attached to it, the easier it is go find! Maybe put a beeper on it too?!
I used to lose my glasses all the time and it is hard to find them when you need them to see. I now used a chain and wear them like the one in your picture. It helps, but then they tend to get scratched up and break the ear piece off too.
Connie, she'd lose that as well!
Kila, i know!
