Acanthus.
Bullfinch chick(right) and Sparrows.
This years Sparrow broods have been really successful. This is about two-thirds of them.
The Acanthus flowers are wonderful. My plants here are putting on their brilliantly green spring growth. You can tell it is spring here as we're getting gale force winds and horizontal rain!
I don't encourage the feathered variety of birds into my garden, but the other sort of birds I don't really mind.
We had a surprising amount of swallows this year... it's been like listening to a manic Sooty and Sweep show.Sx
I seem to have lost my acanthuses
What wonderful pictures...I've never seen so many Sparrows in one place.....! And that flower is GORGEOUS!!!
Whoa. The sparrows have been busy!
Mickle, the bees love them.
Keith, no birds at all then!
Sx, they have been here in good numbers too.
