Unicorn!

Unicorn

I saw this photo in the paper this morning. Apparently unique, due to the centrally sited horn, this Roe deer was born in captivity in Tuscany.Scientists think it must be a genetic defect.(really?)

This is not me messing with photoshop, as the article can be found on the Daily Telegraph web site!

Wow, Izzy will love this. She's mad about anything vaguely mythical/magical and loves animals so this is perfect!

They could call it Spike.

What do you call it if it can't see at all?

No idea!

We were taught to believe that unicorns looked like white horses, with a lonnnnng twisted horn in the middle of its bonce. Here we have a rather obvious looking member of the deer/buck/(biltong even) family, which has no resemblance to a unicorn whatsover! Do I need new glasses? Is someone passing the buck? I don't get the point!

There was quite a bit about this in our papers and the TV News and the Internet! I love that it feels very Unicorn-Like...! Maybe it is a Unicorn? (I so want it to be...)
