Pub news.

Busy, busy in the pub today. Apart from the usual walk-ins, there were twenty-two ramblers booked in.

They must have been a hardy bunch, as it was cold and throwing it down with rain! When they arrived, having changed out of their waterproofs, they sat down to eat. A good tip was given, so they must have enjoyed the food!

There's another group booked in tomorrow and at least the weather forecast is favourable.

I expect Ramblers that keen to head outside and have lunch together would have had mighty appetites.

We don't have Ramblers here. The closest would be Trampers who happily head out into the wild wilderness, self sufficient/self catering with the food etc....supplies in their packs as pubs are hard to come by in the middle of the rugged bush and mountainous ranges that are the normal countryside around here - UK ramblers would suffer greatly.

Just hoping the rambling folks don't upset your daily supplies of beer and those roast dinners!

Sending care and love, Michelle xxx

There's something wonderful about walking in from the rain, into a crowded place, voices rising and falling, and warmth, and the smell of food...
