I have tried deveral times to leave a comment on ChrisB's page to enter one of my stained glass projects in her "fun Monday" whatsit, but it doesn't work, and when I go onto the karmyns fun site the computer "hangs" and the only way out is to reset it! I've given up.... !
Keith put it on yours then and maybe I'll put a rug I made on mine. John your painting is beautiful. I treasure a Wood Warbler which a late friend did years ago but yours is my favourite.
John you know I greatly admire this painting and everyone please note he was still a teenager when he painted this. John hope you don't mind me saying this but I haven't actually given away the age!!
I'm so glad you entered, your painting is gorgeous. I'm listening to chickadees outside my office window right now and I never get tired of them. Blue Jays yes! Chickadees never. Love the banner of your blog as well!
Hello John.G. I've just popped over from Yaxlich after the question of a lost mojo. After reading some of your posts I don't think you've lost yours. I'll be back!
John that is beautiful.making me think about going back to watercolours (used to do botanical studies)And New Guy was born in 1963 so you's definitely still a young chap.x

PFFFT! That's dads' camera work!
That was a quick response! I didn't even have time to put the kettle on! It doesn't suit me anyway.....
Wow!! I'm here from Karmyn's 'fun Monday'....what an awesome piece of work! I'm so impressed!!
Mine's posted if you'd like to drop by.

Oh - VERY NICE! I love Chickadees. You have a talent.
Your painting is beautiful. I can see why the invitation was extended.

Wow John, that's really something! You should be very proud of that.

Wow,this is good.
No jokes with my comment today...I really am impressed!
chrisb: John has told us his age.
Wow - too impressed. If I tried to paint birds they would have to be abstract. AT least, that's what I'd tell people it was when they didn't work out!
Wow! This is one of the best entries yet!
Ooooh, I,m embarrased now.....
Pfft! I've seen better!
bloody hell john - you were right - that's priceless!
Thanks Zoe!
Old Git, I'll deal with you tomorrow!
Zoe - Don't you mean "worthless"?
Nice try Keith!

Joy t. Thanks, that was kind.
John, It is lovely - I'd like to see what you can paint now!! (Ask Chrisb - I can be quite a nag - but I hate to see talent go to waste!)
Purpleworms, thanks, but i'm afraid painting is out of the question now.
Beautiful John, and the painting's not bad either.
Minx, you tease. Good to hear from you at last!

Chickadee-dee-dee
love that picture.
That's stunning.
Very pretty.
Wow, that's excellent! I'm jealous!
I wasn't born in 1979
*ducks to avoid being slapped*
1979 was a memorable year - not least because John was born, I ran away, got divorced and got married with a month to spare.
Pat, I was born in 1962. Now that WOULD have been good to paint like that as a 1 year old!!!!!!!!!
DQ, slap, shit, missed. hee, hee.
Sablonneuse, welcome, but Istill have no idea about mojo!
Pamela,thanks!
TLG, you're too kind.
Woodlandmama, cheers.
Melissa, don't be jealous, ta anyway!
Wow you were just a youngster when you painted that. . .!!
i think I'm going bonkers!
DQ, why, how kind!
Pat, going bonkers? lol.
I'm absent for a few days and look what happens!
I'm delighted you posted the picture.
That's beautiful! Did you used to do a lot of painting? You are obviously talented.
Sally, I did a lot of painting, but alas no more.
Gah, sorry, missed this post when you first put it up.
That painting is freakin' excellent. Sorry about the inarticulateness but that's all I can think to say at the moment.
Just freakin' excellent.
R.P. thanks.
