Garden news.

After a miserable, wet summer which ruined the first flush of roses, the dry September produced a spectacular second flush!

More to come.

Gorgeous roses! Thank you!
I particularly liked the second pink one and the last yellow one.

I swear I can smell these roses via my pooter, John.

I had planned to buy rose plants for my mother's birthday but she said, let's wait until this miserable heat goes.

Hiya, GG, glad you enjoyed them!

oh John you are so lucky. Margaret tells me this is not a good area for roses and they have been especially poor this year. Lovely!

Just gorgeous. So pleased there are scented ones and that you and your Dad got to enjoy a second flush of blooms.

Sending huggles and love,

I am always a bit nervous when I see you start to describe a 'second spectacular flush', John. I can see there was no need. Good stuff.

Is your green thumb for hire, John?
Just beautiful!

p.s. not to be confused with "this gun's for hire"! ;)
