Pub news.
I thought i'd do a little blog on the local canines that frequent the pub.
You will probably recognize the character below,(KB will). This is Jake, one of the dogs welcomed into the bar area.
This is "Titch", a 2 year old Jack Russell/Lakeland Terrier cross. She is a superstar!
This is Sam,a 19 month old Chocolate Labrador. Remarkably well behaved.
This is Alfie, the landlords dog. He is a four-legged exocet missile! Fully trained for the gun, except when he's let loose in the pub!
This is Boisey, a lovely Greyhound/lurcher. He has a wonderful temperament.
Go on, pick your favourite!

From a cat lover - these are gorgeous dogs!
The last dog that won my heart was Harry, super long and high for his Springer Spaniel breeder, and a wussy, huggable lad.
Is Jake a brown (liver?) springer spaniel? coz he looks like one and would get my huggles anyday,

P.S. Harry was an English dog I got to know in 1987/88 while living in London, and now no longer in this world but very much remembered my me

It's a tie between Jake & Titch - they both look adorable!

I would have said the first one but they all seem adorable. How lucky you are to have them to hand and not the responsibility.

What a good-looking lot! I like them all but, because labradors grew up in this neighbourhood, I think I like Sam best.
You know - they all look huggable and hugworthy. I've read that greyhounds have a wonderful nature and make great pets, explaining Boisey's lovely good nature.
From memory Mick is Jake's special human - I'm very relieved for Mick's sake that Jake is a normal springer spaniel size coz Harry was enormous (when he sat on my lap he had to bend his neck to rest his head on top of mine - I'll stop complaining about 7.5 kilo Zebbycat!!)
