M.O.T.

SPAG CHARIOT

I did't get to the pub on Monday because some tw*t rang up and said his company had taken over the servicing contract for all of Leicestershires wheelchair users. I've had mine for 7 years, and nobody has asked to service it before. I said he could have a look.
"What time?" I asked.
"Between 12.30 and 4.00pm." Great, there's my boozing gone. Do you know what time he turned up? F*cking 4.05pm!! He twizzled the wheels, rattled it a bit and gave me a certificate. TWO minutes! And he saved me money.....the bastard! Why can't these people turn up within an hour of the first time? I could have made the pub, and not got a bollocking off the landlord for affecting his takings. I think he should sue.

Grr! And if he did need to fix anything, he wouldn't have it with him.

Now that's the opposite of my experience this week. My mothers telephone was on the blink and I was told the engineer would be there between 12-4. I was also told if I wasn't there I would be charged. OK officious madam I thought but I said sweetly I would be there. I rushed through my mothers shopping and arrived home just gone 11:30 and what time did the engineer arrive 11:40 Early as I pointed out. I asked what would happen if I hadn't been in and he said he would have come back ~ I wonder!!

Christ! I bet you were suffering with withdrawal symptoms! I know you have to have your daily fix of at least 5 pints of piss-beer. Didn't the engineer even clean all that clag and beer stains off the wheelchair? Sue the bastards!

Everybody said how pleasant it was in the pub on Monday with no television blaring away. Really peaceful.....

Next time someone says they'd like to service your chair please send them over here. Whale has THREE wheelchairs none of which is comfortable but once they have got their money they're off for ever.
I have stuck household sponges on the least uncomfortable wheelchair as there are bits of metal that dig into him. Sorry you missed your session at the pub. Hope you make up for it today.

You could have given your address as the pub and had him meet you there.

Honey in this day and age rejoice that he actually made the day. Maddening though I know.

You have people that actually come out & service wheelchairs?? Crikey, that must be a blessing for some.
As for not making it to the pub in time - don't worry John, just make sure you drink twice the normal amount on your next visit........... :-)

He should sue. Then more people might makes proper appointments. This four hour business for one appointment is a nonsense.
