Pub news.

Di, our ever so lovely soaker landlady has a natural gift for inadvertently supplying me with some superb copy for this blog! Today I had some information passed to me regarding Monday nights skittles match.

Di always puts on a buffet in the summer(hot food in the winter) for the two teams.

buffet

After much slaving away making sandwiches etc, it turned out that the fixture list read:

The Merrie Monk-v-Bye!

In other news, Jez won the poker on Tuesday night!

Di had her hair done today, it looks lovely, but it did before she had it done! It must be a female thing. As someone who is follically challenged, I don't really understand the reasoning about getting a perfectly good cut turned into a perfectly good cut for an exorbitant amount of money?!

I am sure I will be well informed by my lady readers!

That food looks so yummy.
Going to the hairdressers is like being in the confessional you can say anything and it goes no further. LOL wonder what Di says about you lot!

The food is an image off the web!

Di does a lovely spread on Sunday lunch times. She is a very good cook. Her sausage rolls, roast potatoes, cheese and biccies, etc are superb!

Hang on. . I think these are bought at the local supermarket and hotted up in the microwave! What am I talking about? I'm nuts!

I can recommend the ham sandwiches though; made by her personally from re-constituted bits!

I provide the dog biscuits for the canine customers though, Jess, Sam, and Bella. Aren't I kind?

That picture looks just like the kind of spread I lay on when friends visit me.

Sorry, I forgot to mention Di's hair

Why she wants to have it done when she looks great with her present style I don't know.

After all, you can't improve on perfection can you?

*fawn, creep*

If the hair isn't right nothing is right. And that is all I got to say about that!

Why John we just do it for you gentlemen.
And if you believe that...

Di's hair looks good all the time because she has it cut regularly. If it were done less frequently, you'd notice that there's a week or two when she needed a haircut.

hi, Z!

Going to the hairdressers is all about "upkeep" - you have to go to keep the ends trimmed and the roots hidden....believe me, if she hadn't have gone, in one more week you would have started noticing things! hee heee
