Autumn is upon us.

The colours seem to gel, the Robinia Freesia(yellow tree) is amazing at this time of year. Click on the picture and have a browse!

Ruth and HI, thanks, from Dad!

Beccy, I've asked him, but he says the return flights, accomodation and carer fees for me would be too pricey. lol.

That lawn needs cutting. And just look at all those weeds! There's not a carrot, or leek, or cabbage, beans or indeed anything edible in sight at all!

Love the yellow!

Marvellous. Autumn has always been my favourite season and I look forward to it in the Ardennes. Despite the fact that some leaves began to fall at the end of August the chnge of colour started later than usual this year.

It is lovely and I do envy the yellow one but it's no good I don't have any gaps. Please ask Dad what is the pinkish flowering low shrub/plant on the left ie looking at the photo. He is a gardener after my own heart.
But better at it:)

Thanks all, glad you enjoyed.

Pat, have e-mailed the shrubs name. For anyone else it's ABELIA GRANDIFLORA.

Beautiful colours. I know I've said it before but your dad keeps a very neat garden. There's no hope for beccy's garden (she'll kill me)!!

Oh how I envy you! I'm in an apartment, in the middle of a capital city & think I'm very lucky to have a balcony! A frangipani, 2 x jasmine, 2 x oleanders & several bougainvillea battle against the conditions, but my little spot of green means heaps to me :-)
