Watchdog
I have just watched Watchdog on the BEEB. I like this programme as it reassures me that although i may appear, sometimes to be a prat, i , in fact am not.
A couple contacted the show complaining about a builder who had reneged on a £42,000 deal.........they paid him up front!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They were moaning that he hadn`t even started. Now, IF they ever catch him i`d string him up by his balls, but to pay in advance?? DOH!
On a different subject, how the hell do you use this HTML thingy? I cannot understand it.
I must be a prat. Ahh well, c`est la vie. (i know someone will correct my French if needed).

Yup, I thought exactly the same thing - what a pair of prize idiots! I didn't know whether to feel more sorry for their gullibility or the devastating effect it's had on their life. Someone should have told them that if it sounds too good to be true then it probably is. What HTML thingy?

Look above the box you write in, there's the HTML view, and the ordinary view - two tabs. If you click on the other tab there are loads of wee thingys there you can play with ;)

Is it the posting html you're asking about or your template html?
Luckily I have a teenage son who takes care of any html stuff.

I don`t know what i need, insomuch as how to operate the thing! Does that make sense? If i know how to do it, i`ll choose what i want. This is garbled rubbish.
