Oh I know it's an oral joke. I once sailed from Cowes in a small boat, to Cherbourg when I was four months preggers! Thought you'd like to know that.
Ha ha.
I was born on the Isle Of Wight and lived in Cowes therefore I spent many hour on the Red Funnel Ferry,travelling to the mainland.They were smelly and horrible but as a little kid I thought it was great......like being on a voyage to another country.........So sad we lose the rose-tinted specs we wear as a child and become so cynical and pi***d off with stuff.
Or is that just me?
