Poorly blogger!
I have come down with the MOTHER of all snotty beaks. Not as bad as Dad has been, as my head isn't pounding. I am a walking wheeling lump of snot, a slug on wheels, so to speak. Do I feel sorry for myself? YES! I haven't had a cold for 20 years, and now I cop for a beauty.
What else is life going to throw at me? Not another f*cking tree, I hope!!
I shall survive. (there's a song there somewhere).
Ta, ta.

Hey poor John but I guess it had to be the full works as it's been 20 years since your last cold!
Hope you're feeling better soon.
and I thought I had it bad by getting a cold my last week at work and it had been about 4years since my last one.
I say fuck off to any of them falling trees...you've had yer share of them.
*chucks a box of tissues at ya*
Don't eat 'cloggy' things like milk, yoghourt, cheese which are mucous forming. Aromatic things like lemon and ginger - anything that percolates up your nose and clears your tubes is good - inhalation cet, cet. And PULEEZE don't sneeze this way. Get better soon.
Right, you need, Sudafed non drowsy,a good nasal spray(clears the nose for 10hours at a time)and a hot toddy. I'm an expert believe me, spent the last 3 years choked up till I discovered I never had a constant cold but a food allergy!
Thanks Beccy, it's easing a little. x
Pessimist, the tissues are a must at the rate i'm going through them!
Thanks Pat, does lager work?
Phoenix, ta, but i'm not allergic to anything.........apart from colds!
Hehe me too hate them.Although being a man are you sure it's not the flu?:-)
those things'll treat the lovely snotty symptoms, the allergy thing was a whole other ball game!apparently I'm a medical conundrum,Lancet here I come.
Phoenix, it's not the flu, I had that once. Not nice. It's just a snotty beak, it came on its own, it'll go on its own.
drink tea with a little fresh, grated ginger, fresh lemon juice, honey and at night add whiskey (not much - you'll wheel yourself into a door!)
ZOE!!!!
Take some Echicacea. I haven't had a full blown cold since I starting taking it on and off years ago!
That should read Echinacea!!! Sorry!
Sally, that sounds like an Australian spiny anteater!
