Sunday lunch

11.30am, usual time on a Sunday lunch. Curry on the bar (homemade by Obe Wan). Freshly picked spring onions for those, like me , who aren't curry fans.
Di, the landlady is behind the bar. We are watching 'Countryfile' on tv. The programme is from Scotland, and they are serving fresh oysters.

"There you go Di, you'll love them". says The Poacher.

"No, I don't like anything slimy in my mouth".

I shall say no more, but leave the rest to your imagination!!

PS...Trigger got slapped!

I so know what she meant! And if Trigg got a smack, he must have been looking too hard again.

Here's a joke for you, cos I'll forget it by Tuesday.

A couple in a restaurant are deciding what to order. The bloke says, "What about tongue salad?"

"Oh, no!" says the lady, "I couldn't have something that's been in an animal's mouth. I'll just have a boiled egg."

Your blog gets even more funky graphics - nice one!

The best innuendos are always the ones that people don't mean to say. Like someone in the office called Jayne, who on listening to the intro to "It's raining men" on the radio, just shouted out: "OOhhh, don't you just love it when it bursts and you know it's coming..."

Mermaid's right. Here's an unintended one that happened only last week.

I was sitting on a neighbour's porch with a bunch of others. The jokes got a little risque, and one rather prim neighbour didn't much like it, so she changed the subject by talking about her garden.

"Hey, guys!" she says, pointing to a bit of shrubbery. "Look at my bush!"

Her husband and I fell about sniggering - but very discreetly.

Now, now, I wouldn't compare G.W. to an intimate part of the female anatomy. I love mermaid's straight laced neighbour... guess what was on her mind...? ;)

Lol!
I un-intentionally walk into double entendres all the time, much to K's amusement. I sometimes feel as if I am living with Finbarr Saunders!:)

With oysters I think, ideally, you need champagne to temper the slime - as it were.
